We celebrate the uniqueness of our people and leverage this to create an inclusive, high performing culture where every person can be their authentic self and is supported to be their best.

We know that creating connection and belonging are key elements to the success of our inclusion journey and these aspirational ideals guide our diversity initiatives.

Our inclusion journey

Our Diversity and Inclusion Framework outlines our inclusion ambitions. We have an active Diversity Council that is chaired by our CEO. Our six priority areas of diversity are all supported by champions from our Executive team and Board. These priority areas include:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
  • Gender;
  • Generational;
  • LGBTQIA+;
  • People from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds; and
  • People with disability.

We have volunteer diversity working groups for each these areas and you can find out more about the initiatives they're working on below.

V/Line is a proud member of Work180, Mental Health First Aid Australia, the Diversity Council of Australia, and the Australian Disability Network.
